FRAGEBOGEN VERKAUFER

What’s the reason for selling the yacht?
The dream we hoped to buy from YCM 8 years ago, is absolutely realised by all the international tours we could do with te boat (see below). Medical problems make it more and more less evident to do these tours and that was our main reason to by a boat...But the boat itself remains 'eager to sail away'
Where have you been sailing (sailing area)?
Frequent daytrips on the Nothsea from her homeport Zeebrugge (just for the fun of sailing) but also many tours : to London (3X!) Chatham, Woolverstone/Ipswich, Isle of Wight and the south-coast of UK, Lowestoft and the south-eastcoast of UK, the 'Fixed Mast Route' (The Netherlands), Dieppe (France) and our absolute highlight was a 7-week trip to St.Petersburg (Baltic Sea) in 2019. We then visited some Frisian Islands, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Finland, Sweden, Danmark...(we recommend this so much!)
Since when are you the owner of the yacht? How many owners?
We are the 3th owner since 2013.
Has the yacht been without any accident?
We know that, under the former owner, there was a repair of the keel (by professionels and with a formel technical inspection afterwards). We ourselfs had to renew the rudderblade in 2014.
What can you tell about the sailing characteristics?
Our Elan is a fast, sportive tough very safe sailing yacht. You can handle her easily with 2 (our even single handed). The Yanmar motor is strong enough to take you to a chosen destination in case the wind is not there...
How is the yacht maintained, are there any invoices available concerning the maintenance?
We treated our yacht very well as safety is really important if you do the trips like we did (often with family and/or friends on board).
We have all invoices available!
Was the yacht regularly ashore during winterperiods? Every year?
Every year she was ashore about 3 weeks on the Marine Technics warf (Zeebrugge) for maintenance
What is the boat name and the (special) meaning of this name?
NORI : we chose a name appropriate for international communication (short & clear). Nori is the known Japanese seaweed and as the former emperor of Japan named his daughter Princess Nori, we guess there is a lot of positive connotations.
Other remarks:
This Elan is also by sportive sailing on rough seas very safe because of the cockpit-construction. Furthermore her interior is so homy and practical that she really was a second home (not only for us but also for the many guests we had on board!)
