    LOCATIE

    INTERVIEW WITH SELLER

What’s the reason for selling the yacht?
Our sons are growing up and will soon leave home. Short-handed sailing is not an option for us on a yacht of this size, therefore we will be looking for a smaller boat.
Where have you been sailing (sailing area)?
The North Sea, from Norway to Normandy. She was always kept in harbours on the Dutch IJsselmeer, a fresh water lake.
Since when are you the owner of the yacht? How many owners?
We purchased her five years ago from a broker, who apparently bought her from the first owner.
Has the yacht been without any accident?
    yes
What can you tell about the sailing characteristics?
Built as an original One Tonner, she sails fast and points high. Especially her behaviour at sea during longer passages is extremely comfortable.
How is the yacht maintained, are there any invoices available concerning the maintenance?
Over the past years many items have been replaced or added, including most instruments (2016, 2017) battery charger (2017), and cabin heating (2016). In the winter 2018-2019 the engine underwent a complete revision, including new pistons, cilinder linings and bearings. The hull was painted professionaly in 2006 and the cockpit teak was replaced in 2002.
Was the yacht regularly ashore during winterperiods? Every year?
Yes, with the exception of the winter 2018-2019.
What is the boat name and the (special) meaning of this name?
Nanna was named after the mother of the current owner.
    Other remarks:
Originally built as One Tonners, Standfast 36's are still famous for their speed and construction quality. This is an exceptional Standfast 36, as only a few were built with an aft cabin. Obviously, she is not new, but her sailing quality is still overwhelming.
