    INTERVIEW WITH SELLER

What’s the reason for selling the yacht?
We recently bought a new boat (and larger one) as we want to make long trips to the Mediterranean Sea and to the Caribbean. We say goodbye to our Bavaria with some pain in our hearts because we have always enjoyed sailing with it, celebrated holidays with it and it was our first "real" sailboat.
Where have you been sailing (sailing area)?
    Markermeer, IJsselmeer, Waddenzee
Since when are you the owner of the yacht? How many owners?
We are the second owners bought it from a Bavaria Dealer in the Netherlands (Jansma) in 2017.
Has the yacht been without any accident?
The yacht has never had any damage.
What can you tell about the sailing characteristics?
The boat is easy to sail and responds well to the rudder. Trimming the sails is also easy and if you do this reasonably well you can certainly keep up with other boats. Stability is excellent and we have sailed the boat with 28-30 knots of wind and then you easily maintain control which also gives a safe feeling. Especially with the new engine, motoring is a pleasure and the boat sails well.
How is the yacht maintained, are there any invoices available concerning the maintenance?
We have always maintained the boat very well as we found this important with regard to reliability and safety. The new engine, sail drive and new rigging certainly contribute to this. The tank has been thoroughly cleaned and now also has an inspection hatch. The fresh/drinking water pump has recently been replaced and the electricity has also been completely checked. The batteries are also fairly new. Invoices are available.

Was the yacht regularly ashore during winterperiods? Every year?
Once every two years for service, antifouling.
What is the boat name and the (special) meaning of this name?
It was my wife's idea since she is from Ireland (Waterford) and it was the name of a small (hobby) fishing boat of her grandfather.
    Other remarks:
It is a well maintained sail boat which offers great sailing.
