LOCATIE
INTERVIEW WITH SELLER
- What’s the reason for selling the yacht?
- We have had a lot of fun with our Easy Going for 15 years. Because of our age and our plans to make further voyages, we are switching to a slightly larger ship. And we will again choose a Bavaria.
- Where have you been sailing (sailing area)?
- We have mainly sailed on fresh water (Markermeer, IJsselmeer and Friesland), with occasional trips to Zeeland and the Waddeneilanden.
- Since when are you the owner of the yacht? How many owners?
- We are the 2nd owner of the ship and have owned it for 15 years now. We took over the boat from a private owner in 2009.
- Has the yacht been without any accident?
- Yes, we never had any accidents or damage.
- What can you tell about the sailing characteristics?
- Although people sometimes sneer at a Bavaria, we think the sailing and sailing characteristics are great. The ship is very manoeuvrable and can be steered very well by one person. We have always felt very safe on board, even in strong winds. The offshore sails have proven to be a real asset.
- How is the yacht maintained, are there any invoices available concerning the maintenance?
- Safety and reliability are very important to us, which is why we have paid a lot of attention to maintenance. We are not 'handymen' and like to leave the real work to professionals. There is a clear overview of all maintenance and all invoices are also available.
- Was the yacht regularly ashore during winterperiods? Every year?
- The ship has been ashore almost every year. Just two times the ship stayed in the water during winter.
- What is the boat name and the (special) meaning of this name?
- The boat is called Easy Going and that typifies our lifestyle. We take it easy on the water and try to enjoy every moment. We don't sail races, although of course we want to catch up with that boat in front of us... By the way, it's our second Easy Going; the first was a Clever 23.
- Other remarks:
- The Easy Going is ready for many, many more years of sailing pleasure.
