- What’s the reason for selling the yacht?
- We have always loved sailing with the boat very much, but we feel that after nearly 25 years, the time has come to conclude our beautiful sailing adventure.
- Where have you been sailing (sailing area)?
- Zeeland/IJsselmeer / Markermeer / Wadden and sometimes Friesland (Sneek, Heeg, Earnewald, Dokkum, Sloten, Woudsend). There have also been a pair of sea trips to England, one time to London and one time to the English south coast.
- Since when are you the owner of the yacht? How many owners?
- First owner. The year of construction of the sailing boat is 2001.
- Has the yacht been without any accident?
- There has been no damage to the ship. Only minor damage to the guardrail.
- What can you tell about the sailing characteristics?
- The Bavaria 37 sails beautifully with plenty of space in the cockpit. The cockpit is equipped with flexi-teak on the floor and on the cockpit benches. The boom reaches up to the bimini so there is no overhanging boom in the cockpit. This has always given us a sense of safety. The 29 HP Volvo-Penta engine has enough power in heavier weather conditions.
- How is the yacht maintained, are there any invoices available concerning the maintenance?
- Yes. Engine maintenance every 2 years; Ship out of the water every 2 years for waxing and antifouling. All technical installations have been maintained/repaired when necessary. Invoices are available.
- Was the yacht regularly ashore during winterperiods? Every year?
- Yes. Every 2 years the whole winter on the shore.
