    INTERVIEW WITH SELLER

What’s the reason for selling the yacht?

Unfortunately we sail too little nowadays due to irregular working days on my part (a lot of weekends), and sport activities of the kids.

Where have you been sailing (sailing area)?

Mostly in the Netherlands. We did do a couple vacations towards Belgium and east and south England (Isle of Wight).

Since when are you the owner of the yacht? How many owners?

We are the second owner and bought the yacht in 2005.

Has the yacht been without any accident?

There has been some damage to the starboard aft side of the ship when another yacht tried to enter us. They failed but there was a crack to the hull/deck joint.
This has been immaculately repaired bij the Schaap Shipcare company. I picked then because they also built the winning Volvo Ocean Race ABN boat Black Betty. So they know their stuff.

What can you tell about the sailing characteristics?

A very comfortable and quick yacht. Especially quick on a reach.

How is the yacht maintained, are there any invoices available concerning the maintenance?

All maintenance has been done privately (also part of the hobby). Engine has had service every year as the boat was hauled out for winterstorage. (I'm a RYA Yachtmaster so have done my Diesel Engine Maintenace courses)

Was the yacht regularly ashore during winterperiods? Every year?

The yacht has been on the dry for every winter that we've owned it.

What is the boat name and the (special) meaning of this name?

The boat is called 'Simply First' and this name was given by the original owner in 2001.
