What’s the reason for selling the yacht?

DutchCat sells this demo ship in new condition to offer a young ship, after which DutchCat can introduce another demo ship.

Where have you been sailing (sailing area)?

The DutchCatTwelve is a high-quality composite-built ship with beautiful sailing characteristics. Very stable. Considering the high quality construction and catamaran hull shape, this ship has a B12 certificate. B stands for seaworthy and 12 for the number of people that can be on board with wind force 8 and waves of 4 meters. Monohull ships of the same length will receive a B8 at most. In other words: the DutchCatTwelve is more than safe.
The ship is so spacious that under normal sailing conditions it is easy for 20 people to experience pleasure on board.

Since when are you the owner of the yacht? How many owners?

This demo ship was developed by DutchCat and is in new condition. The ship has only been used for trade fairs, sea trials and demo trials. As a result, this ship has very few engine running hours. The DutchCat company is the owner and that means that the ship can be sold under VAT. If you can transfer the VAT, it saves 21% on the cost price that is offered including 21% VAT.

Has the yacht been without any accident?

100% damage free.

What can you tell about the sailing characteristics?

Compared to a monohull ship, a catamaran hull shape has much less resistance and therefore much less energy consumption. For this reason this ship can sail electrically in a sustainable way and the battery pack is sufficient to sail a whole day. Another advantage of this hull shape is the stability. Anyone who has a catamaran experience will confirm that the ship is much more stable in the water than monuhull ships. This is real comfort. The coffee stays in the cup.

How is the yacht maintained, are there any invoices available concerning the maintenance?

The ship was commissioned by DutchCat and all documents are available for accounting.

Was the yacht regularly ashore during winterperiods? Every year?

The ship is regularly taken out of the water for inspection and to clean the underwater ship. The underwater ship is equipped with a new anti-fouling from International. From the point of view of quality assurance, the ship leaves the water at least once a year.

What is the boat name and the (special) meaning of this name?

The ship's name is Evolution. This name was deliberately chosen because the ship as a whole is an evolution. It is a unique ship with unique features.
