What’s the reason for selling the yacht?
Although we bought a new yacht it still hurts to say goodbye to this great yacht!
Where have you been sailing (sailing area)?
Markermeer & IJsselmeer, Northsea, Baltic Sea.
Since when are you the owner of the yacht? How many owners?
First owner since 2014.
Has the yacht been without any accident?
Fortunately, there have never been major damages.
What can you tell about the sailing characteristics?
Due to the good Farr designed hull, deep keel and membrane sails, the sailing characteristics are very good! We enjoyed the reactions of "performance" yachts as we passed them. But she is also very easy to sail, even without intensive trim she easily reaches a good speed. She is very reliable and always responds well to the helm.
How is the yacht maintained, are there any invoices available concerning the maintenance?
Yes. The fuel filters, oil filter, oil and impeller are replaced every year. Last winter the sail drive oil and coolant were replaced.
Was the yacht regularly ashore during winterperiods? Every year?
Yes. Not last winter, but she goes ashore now for sale.
What is the boat name and the (special) meaning of this name?
NORD is the Norwegian word for north. We love destinations to the north and Norway was an important goal!

In 2014 I participated with this boat in a comparison test of the ANWB Waterkampioen where she was compared with a comparative length Hanse, Beneteau and Jeanneau. She came out of the test as the winner! A copy of the article in Dutch can be sent
